2. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
This section applies where DirectCalls processes personal data on behalf of a Client.
Roles
Client = Data Controller
DirectCalls Ltd = Data Processor
Scope of Processing
Data may include:
Names
Telephone numbers
Email addresses
Message content
Booking details
Purpose: Automation, CRM storage, SMS communication, and workflow management.
Processor Obligations
DirectCalls shall:
Process data only on documented instructions
Maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures
Ensure staff confidentiality
Assist with data subject rights requests
Notify Client of data breaches without undue delay
Delete or return data upon termination (subject to legal retention requirements)
Sub-processors
DirectCalls may engage third-party providers (e.g., SMS gateways, CRM infrastructure providers).
DirectCalls ensures sub-processors are contractually bound to equivalent data protection obligations.
Security
Appropriate safeguards are implemented including:
Secure hosting
Encrypted data transmission
Access controls
Termination of Processing
Upon termination of Services, personal data will be deleted or returned unless retention is required by law.
